1. Is the MagicScoop effective at controlling odors?

Yes. MagicScoop is designed with odor control in mind. It features a non-stick bottom, anti-clumping design, self-cleaning scoop, and a double-sealed waste container to greatly reduce unpleasant smells.

2. Can I use tofu cat litter with the MagicScoop?

Yes, it supports various types of tofu litter including strip-shaped, granular, and mixed varieties. For best performance, avoid using tofu litter pieces longer than 10mm.

3. What if my cat is used to a traditional litter box?

The MagicScoop resembles traditional litter boxes in shape and function. Place it near your cat's current box and allow them to explore it naturally. You can also refer to our guide on “Introducing Your Cat to MagicScoop.”

4. Does it take up a lot of space?

Not at all. Its compact design (11.02 in H × 17.87 in W × 25.79 in D, 9.00 lbs total weight) makes it easy to fit in most homes. It's also lightweight and easy to move.

5. Will my cat track litter outside the box?

MagicScoop features a high fence and a front litter-catching groove to reduce litter tracking. It works best with litter pieces shorter than 10mm, such as tofu litter.

6. Is it suitable for both kittens and large cats?

Yes. For kittens under 3.31 lbs or those with limited mobility, we recommend using manual mode. MagicScoop supports cats up to 22 lbs comfortably.

7. What if a cat enters while it’s cleaning?

Infrared sensors will detect the cat's presence and pause cleaning immediately. Once the cat leaves, the system will safely resume cleaning.

8. What should I do if it gets blocked?

If a blockage occurs, MagicScoop will automatically pause, attempt to reverse the mechanism, and retry. If the issue persists after three attempts, it enters protection mode and alerts you with a blinking blue light.

9. How much litter can it hold?

The container holds about 5L of litter (upper limit). A 5.51 lbs bag of tofu litter usually fills the container. Please check your litter's packaging for volume reference.

10. How often should I add litter?

If you have one cat, refilling every 3–4 weeks is usually enough. You can also reuse litter collected in the tray to minimize waste.

11. How often should I empty the waste bin?

We recommend emptying every 3–4 days in summer, and once a week in winter. For multi-cat households, do it more frequently to prevent odor and bacteria build-up.

12. How should I clean the litter box?

Remove and rinse the fence and pedal as needed. Wipe the main body with a damp cloth and mild cleaner. Do not immerse the drive box or anti-bite cables in water.
